I know that while I continue to talk about spring, you're looking out your window at snow. Somehow I seem unable to wish it away. Just when I think we're ready for warmer temps Mother Nature says "not yet...." (Sigh.) So, since these temps will not let us start using our spring wardrobe, what is a girl to do?! The days are now longer and that is definitely helping my season depression. But a little spring in my closet will go a long way too. And this season's spring accessories are perfect for lifting your mood.
The trends we are seeing this season include the feminine detail that we have come to love about spring. Pastels are in full bloom with an emphasis on pink. Glitter is still a noticeable detail in items from earrings to shoes. Earrings are a this season's statement piece. We are seeing less statement necklaces and a trend toward more simple delicate necklaces. Chokers are still popular and available in a wide variety of styles from pastel velvets to gold chain links and embellished with sparkle. We are also seeing tassels and charms added this spring. Finally, initials are popular from jewelry to bags as they have been for some time. So there is something for everyone with such wide variety, which means there are plenty of options to add to your wardrobe while the temperatures are still catching up.
