Everything that’s old is new again. The 90s are back in full force in the fashion scene, and I can proudly say that I am thrilled! I’m fully embracing the resurgence of the 90s and taking advantage of the retro denim skirt and choker trend.

Denim skirts are versatile and perfect for the upcoming summer months. Celebs and style icons alike have been embracing this trend, and I think you should too! The best thing about these skirts is that they are super casual and easy to wear, and also come in a ton of different washes. I personally love a white denim skirt with a simple tee shirt and my go-to summer sandals. Such an easy and chic outfit for any day! Who thought chokers would ever make a come back? I could not have predicted it, but I am so excited about this trend. The Kardashians (and Gigi Hadid’s of the world) have been credited with giving this trend its push back in to the world of fashion, and I can’t thank them enough. This trend can be a little scary to try, but to quell your doubts, the chokers of today have moved away from the stretchy tattoo types of the early 90s. The 2016 choker is a collection of velvet, leather, and metal collars. They capture any style from bohemian and bold, to feminine and delicate.
