An Introduction to Anna Beck

Jewelry can be a very personal thing. Most women have pieces that are treasured by them for their sentimental value as much as anything. Some women prefer silver or gold. Sometimes women prefer earrings to bracelets or necklaces to rings. We usually have a few costume jewelry pieces that we rotate in our wardrobe in addition to the higher end pieces that we treasure.

For me, I prefer earrings and bracelets. I have one necklace that I wear with almost everything and a few bib necklaces for the right outfit. The only rings I wear with any consistency are my engagement & wedding rings. I do however have an array of earrings and bracelets for both every day and special occasion. Over the years, I have accumulated both silver and gold jewelry of sentimental value to me. Pieces that incorporate both gold and silver are of particular interest to me. I tend to gravitate towards these types of pieces.

As I've mentioned in previous posts, I love learning about different brands. Recently, I bought my first pair of Anna Beck earrings. This brand encompasses several characteristics that I love including the incorporation of both gold & silver in a single piece. These pieces are simple yet intricately crafted with amazing details. They have a great versatility allowing them to be worn with both your favorite pair of jeans and that cocktail dress you need find earrings for. Anna Beck pieces are handcrafted in Bali. The brand's designer has developed a unique relationship with local artisans to bring about Anna Beck's gorgeous jewelry. I have included images of just some of her pieces below. If you're interested in learning more about this brand, please visit: https://www.annabeck.com/

Cuyana

There are always smaller brands that are popping up and trying to make a name for themselves. I love learning about new brands that work hard to produce a beautiful product. Some brands have been inspired by social awareness. Other brands drive social change. I love brands with a story behind their product. For example, a family business that is born out of a particular need or awareness can help a customer to connect with them on a personal level. This develops a bond that transcends trend or season.

I recently learned of a brand called Cuyana. I came across them on Pinterest. They offer gorgeous apparel and accessories. In particular, I love the look of their handbags. I started to reach more about the brand and here is what I found when I googled them:

"Fewer, Better Things. Timeless apparel and accessories for the modern woman made with the most premium materials and finest craftsmanship..."

Cuyana means "to love" in Quechua (which is a Native South American language spoken mainly in the Andes). They want you to love everything in your closet and everything in your life. They believe in a philosophy of Fewer, Better which extends beyond fashion and into life as a whole. Everything about this brand is focused on simplicity from their classic product style to their website. They are consistently delivering a clean and simple message.

I invite you to browse their product and read more about their brand and their philosophy.
