Thoughts on this Thanksgiving

So my first thoughts are on how thankful I am to have this outlet and to have amazing friends and clients who support and encourage me.

Many of you ladies will be cooking this Thanksgiving and inviting family and friends into your home. Remember to take a moment for yourself. Remember how fortunate we are to have loved ones in our lives. Remember whata wonderful person you are. Stand tall, smile bright and wear something you love this Thanksgiving.

If you are contemplating what to wear as a host or a guest, find that go to item in your closet and work from there. This is the day you want to keep it simple and feel great. Add a little sparkle (it is the beginning of the holiday season after all) and be on your way.

Finally, are you ready to go shopping on Black Friday? Depending on what you are looking to buy it may or may not be worth the hassle. In year's past, Black Friday deals were a one time steal worth getting up early for. I've noticed more recently that some of the best deals actually come closer to Christmas. The only things I would caution is that the closer you get to Christmas you run the risk of a particular item you want being sold out.

As I sit here trying to type this my two year old toddler has climbed into my lap and is repeating "I do it!!" over and over again as he attempts to bang on my laptop. These are the hazards of my attempt to work from home. But he is one of the bright shining stars in my life and I remember to cherish every time he wants to sit with me because he won't be two forever.

Happy Thanksgiving!
